Perfect Party Invitations

Monday, May 11th, 2009

I’m giving my best friend a bridal shower and before I even got started I sat down and made a list of all the things I needed to buy for the party. The first priority was finding a birthday party invitation. Dragging myself from shop to shop hoping to find a great deal or a decent selection isn’t my idea of a good time, so I went searching for supplies online. Boy, did I luck out in that department. The prices and selection were both better than I expected. Some of the deals were just incredible. The script on the party invitations was silver, and the edges were pearl; they looked exquisite. They had all kinds of invitation cards, from general party invitations to specific ones, like engagement party invitations.
There were some great little accessories for my shower too, like place card holders for all the little tables I had set up. Another item I picked out for the bride was a sign-in book for guests so that she could keep track of who gave her what gifts easily. There was also a cute idea for a place card holder that I really liked. Pink lilies adorned the place cards I picked out, and each guest received brightly-wrapped candies in a small plastic purse. Next to the other decorations and presents, they were a real eye-catcher. There’s no type of party that doesn’t have a gift box designed for it. Flower decorations were on the containers I picked out, and I put them all on a serving dish on the table that held the gifts. It was a good-looking way to set it up, and everyone there just came by and grabbed a gift. I settled on manicure kits for our thank you gifts, and then I got a few more things to be handed out to the winners of the contests that we were going to hold. I found some random things to hand out as awards, such as unique key rings, little vanity mirrors, and special soaps.
There were plenty of proposals for bridal shower games on the web as well. If you want to see something humorous, try playing ‘Take It Off,” a game where you have to but a bag on your head and then, when the person running the game tells you to take off one piece of clothing, you have to take one off – and it’s astonishing how many women don’t have it come to mind that they ought to take off the bag. This is really a hysterical game to play. There are other mirthful games that we did, like bridal bingo. Deciding to surf the web was an excellent thing to do since I saw all kinds of things I could use and a good portion of them were very affordable. I know I got a super deal on the favors and invitations I picked out. Not only did I get high quality accessories, but they didn’t cost me half of what I had expected to pay for it all, and there were so many options to choose from. This site I found also has wedding invitations and favors, so I made it a point to inform my friend who was getting married about it, since I was sure she would want to know about this place. Getting her things for the wedding here will save her money and give her some great ideas to work with. The bridal shower wouldn’t have been as good without it. We all had a super time and all my favors and other accessories really impressed my guests. The people who took the time to go to the shower will all get thank you cards, which I’m working on now. Naturally, I bought the cards for thank yous over the Intenet as well. Now I have to go back online because I’m helping my friend plan her sons’ birthday party and they have quite a bit to offer there too.
