I was never married before and this is my first marriage, I wanted to plan the best wedding shower ever. I knew I needed help, so I asked my sister if she wanted to help me. She said yes and was as happy as I was. I know there is a lot that goes into planning a wedding shower and I was excited and ready to get started. This was not my first time planning a shower and I knew how great my shower would be. I didn’t have a lot of time and I knew I better get started with the planning.
My sister and I searched for a hall to rent that was big enough to accommodate all of the guests. We found a hall close by my home. We then went searching on the internet for all the decorations and gifts. There were a lot of themed wedding ideas that were gorgeous. I finally found all my decorations and purchased all the gifts I needed for the wedding shower. It was time to find the shower favors. There was a big variety to choose from. This took some time to figure which one I wanted because they had so many to choose from. We saw a handkerchief that was so elegant, that I decided this is what I want to give my guests for a wedding favor. This made me decide that I wanted one for myself on my wedding day. I found a Cheap selection of cotton hankerchief that was so gorgeous. I was so sure that all my guests would fall in love with the ladies handkerchiefs. My decision was to pick the lace handkerchief for my guests.
All my plans we going well. The hall was reserved and we bought the decorations, gifts, and wedding favors. I now had to plan what I was going to have as food for my shower. I thought about catering it in, but that was expensive. I looked through all my recipes and found some great dishes that I and my sister could make in no time. Our local bakery makes cakes for showers, so that is who we ordered it from. All the planning was finished. I found these great invitations and sent them out. All we had to do was wait until the day of the shower.
The day finally arrived and we went to hall to set up the shower. It took us about an hour to decorate the hall. As soon as we finished, we were amazed how great the room looked. Luckly I bought my camera with me because I wanted to remember how gorgeous the room looked. The cake was on the table with the food and each table had a center piece. All the tables had a cotton handkerchief at each setting. If you saw the room, you would say the room looked so elegant.
We all had an excellent time with my family and friends. We all had such a good time. We had fun playing games and eating. My guests talked about how much they enjoyed getting a handkerchief. It was amazing to see how many gifts I did get. The shower was coming to a end and I wanted it not to end, because we were all having a good time.
When all my guests were leaving, they all thanked me for such a good time and especially the handkerchief. It made me glad that I chose a handkerchief for my wedding favor. My special day turned out and will be remembered forever. I am so glad that my sister was there to plan the shower with me. It meant so much to me that she was a part of this.|It made me feel good that she was by my side through this.|She really touched my heart during this.[/spin] That’s why I asked her to be my maid of honor.
